Public Threads

One worldview, several rooms

My work sits across several public threads. They look separate from the outside. They are not.

Each platform we use slices a person into the fragment it can monetise: the professional profile, the advocate, the parent, the writer. This page exists to hold the integrated version. Every thread below is the same inquiry - how conditions shape outcomes - running through a different room.

thread/01

The Human Algorithm

Essays, philosophy, and civic systems writing. The intellectual spine of everything else: the argument that justice is architectural, developed slowly and in public.

thread/02

Disability & NDIS advocacy

Family experience, public submissions, and care architecture. The disability system is where the gap between stated values and actual design is widest - and where the cost of bad design lands on the people least resourced to absorb it.

thread/03

School & community governance

Practical civic work at the local level. Governance is where philosophy meets agendas, budgets, and minutes - the small rooms where conditions actually get set.

thread/04

Mortgage broking

Money, housing, stress, family security, and decision architecture. Sitting with families at their most consequential financial decisions is a continuing education in how constraint shapes choice.

thread/05

Small business

A creative e-commerce business co-founded with my wife. Survival pressure, commerce, and family labour from the inside - the view of economic systems you only get when your own name is on the debt.

The broker understands the advocate. The parent informs the philosopher. The governance volunteer keeps the writer honest about how slowly real systems change. This site can hold the integrated picture - the version of the work that no single platform has room for.
